Good day! Yes, you can. However, note that the battery serves as the power supply. As such, since the motorcycle battery capacity is quite small, this will only be able to power your appliance for a short period of time. Please also check and make sure that the PPI 500 you own (12V DC or 24V DC) is compatible with your battery. We hope this helps.

Hi. Can I use 12.8V LifePo4 battery with this? This is for a solar power system.

Good day! 4 strings of 12.8V LifePO4 batteries, when fully charged – the voltage will be at DC14.4~14.6V, while the PPI-500 working voltage range is DC10.5~15VDC
So, it can be used in solar power system, but the solar panel must be connected to the solar controller first and then the battery. Please do not directly connect the solar panel output to the PPI-500 inverter input, else it will burn out, because the solar panel output voltage is DC18~32V.
