The Panther Power on Delay renders unnecessary the unplugging and plugging in of appliances every time a power interruption occurs since it provides a 3-5 minutes delay after a power outage. This delay allows the power supply to normalize before resuming its supply to the appliance, which protects your valuable appliances from the high voltage surge that occurs immediately after the electricity comes back on.
Sample appliances that would benefit from a Power on Delay: Compressor type equipment (e.g., freezers, refrigerators)
For detailed instructions on how to set up the Panther Power-on-Delay, you can check out this article: How to Set Up and Operate Panther Power on Delay

Hi I bought this kind or Power on Delay. is it suitable for my Panasonic Ref NR-BV320GKPH
Panther Support –
Good day! Yes, it should be suitable. Kindly check to make sure your refrigerator’s power consumption is below 3.33A to ensure it’s within the PPD 1000’s max capacity, taking into account the startup power motor consumption.
Jesse Escandor –
Hi, I just bought 1 unit of PPD 1000, i just wanna know if i can plug in 1 unit of refrigerator and 1 unit of chest freezer at the same time? what do i have to check out first before plugging them in at the same time? thank you…
Panther Support –
Good day! Kindly make sure that it does not exceed the 10 Ampere maximum capacity of the PPD 1000. Please check the amperage of your refrigerator and chest freezer. Add them up then multiply by 3 (to account for startup power motor consumption). If the total does not exceed 10A, then you may plug them both into the PPD 1000 and use at the same time. We hope this helps!

Is this allowed for laptops?
Panther Support –
Good day! Pwede naman po. Pero note that the PPD 1000 provides power on delay protection so that the plugged-in appliance is protected from voltage surge post-power outage. However, as laptops are normally unplugged during an outage, this doesn’t seem to be a function your laptop would need.
Kindly let us know what protective function you’re looking for so we can assist you better. Thank you!
Shaira Cabarles Vacalares –
Hi, when should the Push-to-reset button be used? Thank you!
Panther Support –
Good day! The PPD 1000 comes with a circuit breaker to protect the device and your appliance from overload (e.g. when you plug in an appliance that’s beyond the maximum 10A capacity of the PPD 1000). When this happens, the breaker will trip, and will stop the power from coursing through the Power on Delay and your appliance – for protection. When this occurs, unplug the appliance, push the push-to-reset button and the PPD 1000 will function as normal again. Kindly do NOT plug the same appliance in, as an overload will simply occur again. Hope this helps!
Zeenat –
Good day! Is this compatible with any kinds of refrigerator?
Panther Support –
Good day! As long as the refrigerator’s power consumption is below 10A (taking into account startup power motor consumption), then the PPD 1000 would be compatible. We hope this helps!
Pyukonz –
Hello yung LG ba ref side by side pwd sa ppd1000 at pwd pa ba sya dagdagan?
Panther Support –
Good day! Kindly check the power consumption of your LG side-by-side refrigerator. The power consumption (taking into account startup power motor) should NOT exceed the 10A capacity of the PPD 1000. To learn how to calculate the refrigerator’s power consumption, you can check out this link: https://panther.ph/how-to-calculate-appliance-capacity-requirements/
Alternatively, you can also send us your refrigerator specifications and we can help check for you.
We hope this helps!
GERRY D –
what if my input voltage is consistent under 242V, can it regulate the output to 220V also
Panther Support –
Good day! The PPD 1000 does not regulate voltage, it only provides power-on-delay protection from voltage surges post-brown out by delaying the return of power by ~3-5 minutes (which is when voltage surges occur). If you wish to regulate the voltage entering your appliance, we would recommend our AVR series instead: https://panther.ph/product-category/appliance-protection/automatic-voltage-regulator/pve-relay-type/
Liza bucagan –
Is this suitable for inverter ref electrulux thanks po 10cubic po
Panther Support –
Good day! The PPD 1000 is suitable for refrigerators. We hope this helps!
Maria Leah Bow –
Is this suitable for my Samsung 55″ smart tv (140w) since brownouts is often in our place?
Panther Support –
Good day! Note that this only protects from voltage surge post brownout, and does NOT provide high/low voltage fluctuation protection. Note that since TVs automatically shut off during a brownout and does not power back on post-brown out, it does not actually need power-on-delay protection.
Maria Leah Bow –
Do you have a product that can regulate the voltage and at the same time a power on delay to protect my smart tv from frequent brownouts and fluctuating power?
Panther Support –
Good day! As a response to your previous question, we mentioned that TVs don’t normally need power-on-delay function as they shut off during a power outage and don’t automatically power back on after, hence there is no need for power-on-delay. Instead, we normally recommend the following for TVs in order to protect from voltage fluctuations:
1) PVP 2500 : https://panther.ph/product/pvp-2500-panther-voltage-protector/
This protects from high/low voltage fluctuation by cutting off power to your TV when the voltage goes below 160V AC or above 250V AC.
2) PVE 501: https://panther.ph/product/pve-500-relay-type-avr/
This protects your TV 24/7 by regulating the power voltage entering your TV continuously so you can continue using your TV without fear of damage from voltage fluctuations
We hope this helps!
Robert Sindo –
Bakit nga po pala hindi 3 pin yung main plug? Walang ground ang power deley ng panther?
Panther Support –
Good day! Our PPD design does not apply a grounding system to the circuit, and the outlet is only for load/equipment with a universal plug to prevent customers from using an adapter plug. However, we can manufacture a custom-made PPD unit for you with a grounding system applied to the unit’s circuit if needed. Kindly email us your specific requirements and the quantity you wish to order to pantherproduct@gmail.com and we can then provide a quotation for you. We hope this helps!
Mark Yabes –
is your product Ppd 1,000 applicable to use for aircon? if not what would you recommend?
Panther Support –
Good day! Kindly note that the PPD 1000 can accommodate up to 10A. As long as your aircon’s power consumption (incl. startup power) is below 10A, then the PPD 1000 should work. An alternative we could also recommend would be the PVP 3500 Voltage Protector: https://panther.ph/product/pvp-3500-panther-voltage-protector/
Not only does the PVP 3500 provide power-on-delay protection, but it also provides surge projection (up to 900 Joules) and high/low voltage protection by shutting off power when the voltage is below 160V or above 250V AC.
We hope this helps!

Alfred Villacarlos –
hello, just purchased a Shart 1HP inverter split type AC, is Panther PPD 1000 suitable for this device or should I try the PPD 2500 o 3500? hope you could help. thank you in advance.
panther admin –
Good day! Given your equipment is an air-conditioner, we would recommend the PVP 3500, because this is specifically designed for air-conditioners. The PVP 3500 provides power-on-delay protection, surge protection, as well as high/low voltage protection.

We hope this helps! Please reach out to us if you have any other questions!
Shirley Chua –
Is this good enough for 1 hp window type ac and 170w inverter refrigerator? If not, is the Panther PVP-2500 more appropriate?
panther admin –
Good day! Yes, you may use the PPD 1000 for a 1 HP window type AC and 170w inverter refrigerator, although you would require 1 PPD 1000 each.
However, we would also encourage you to consider the PVP 2500 (for the refrigerator) and PVP 3500 (for the aircon) for additional protection. Note that the PPD 1000 only provides power-on-delay protection from power outages, while the PVP (Voltage Protector series) provides power-on-delay protection, high and low voltage protection, as well as surge protection.
In case you want 24/7 protection, you may also consider our PVE D (AVR) series which provides 24/7 voltage regulation for your appliance. Sharing links below for your reference:

hi pwede po ba sya sa desktop computers? di ba sya mamamatay once na mawalan saglit ng kuryente? and need po ba direct sa saksakan? kasi maiksi lang po sya di aabot sa main na saksakan. thank you.
panther admin –
Good day! We recommend UPS (uninterruptible power supply – to supply power to your computer kapag may sudden power outage. Our UPS also comes equipped with a built-in UPS) for desktop computers. Alternatively, if you only need voltage regulation, we would recommend an AVR (24/7 voltage regulation).

personal computer, which is 250V compatible, is it compatible with 220V?
panther admin –
Good day Rosty! As long as your PC has an input voltage also of 220v you can plug it on Power on Delay. But if your PC has only 250v input ang try to plug it in lower voltage it can damage your PC. Maybe you can consider AVR with Power on Delay. Hope it helps.
Ele Mae –
Just bought PPD 220V. Is it okay to use in my samsung refregirator with 230V?
panther admin –
Good day Ele! Yes you can plug your 230v to PPD 1000. It is generally safe to plug a 230V appliance into a 220V outlet. Hope it helps.
Ele Mae –
Is it okay po na dalawa ang isaksak sa outlet? Refrigerator and modem?
panther admin –
Good day Ele. Make sure that the combined maximum power consumption of the appliance/s you’ll be plugging into the Panther Power on Delay is below 10A (~2500 Watts).
Note that the PPD 1000 is designed with overload protection, wherein the built-in circuit breaker will trip in case of overload to protect both the Power on Delay and the plugged-in appliance. Hope it helps.
Rj –
230v 60hHz po yung ref namin, ok lang po ba gamitin dito?
panther admin –
Good day Rj! Yes pwede po ito sa ref nyo with that specification as long as the power consumption is below 10A that is Ok. Hope it helps.

I bought a PVP 3500 for aircon. Palagi lang nakasaksak sa outlet kahit naka off ang aircon. Will this consume electricity kahit naka off ang aircon? We only use aircon at night.
panther admin –
Good day Linlin! It may consume very minimal electricity. To turn off the voltage protector, simply long press the ON/OFF switch until all LED indicators in front are blinking at the same time. When turning it on, push the ON/OFF switch until the delay function works again. We hope it helps.
MICHAEL POLITE –
GREETING, I BOUGHT PPD-1000 FROM LAZADA. NOW THE RED LIGHT ZTAYZ ON BRIGHT AND RESET BUTTON WONT RESET IT. HOW DO I RETURN FOR WARRANTY?
panther admin –
Good day Michael! IF the red light is on meaning it’s on delay mode for 3-5 minutes. It will turn green once the delay is done. Circuit breaker will trip in case of overload to protect both the Power on Delay and the plugged-in appliance. We hope it helps.
Mark Torralba –
What power on delay do you recommend for a 1.5 and 2.5 hp airconditioner
panther admin –
Good day Mark! For AC units please consider PVP 3500. It has built-in Power on Delay of 15 sec./30 sec./3 mins. It is also a voltage protector that can cut off power when it reach Min: 160V AC and Max: 250V AC. We hope it helps.
