Product Details

Panther Transformers adjust the voltage supply to make it compatible with the voltage requirement of the appliance. In the Philippines, the normal working voltage of outlets is 220V AC. Hence, if you are using appliances that require a 110V AC voltage, you would need a Panther Step-Down transformer to convert the voltage from 220V AC to 110V AC in order to use the device

Materials Used
  • 99.9% Copper Wire
  • Silicon Laminated EI Core
  • Fire Retardant Outlet and Standard Size Cord
  • Metal Casing: Powder-coated

Additional Warning / Disclaimer

Please consult your equipment supplier and/or Panther to determine the appropriate product capacity you should purchase for your equipment. This is to avoid overload.

In case you have specific requirements, please inform us of your required specifications so we can provide a made-to-order quotation for you

hi, i have a 110v appliances with 490 and 980 watts capacity, which transformer should i use

    • Panther Support

Good day! I assume the 490 watts and 980 watts are two separate appliances? Kindly let us know:
      1) Are the wattages you provided average capacity or max capacity?
      2) What appliances these are (if they are appliances with motor, you would need to put in a start up power motor consumption buffer)?
      3) Are you planning to plug in these appliances to the transformer at the same time, to be used at the same time?

By answering these questions, we can help determine the appropriate transformer you would need to use. We hope this helps! Alternatively, you can also check out our article on how to calculate for appropriate transformer capacity given the appliance you wish to plug in: https://panther.ph/how-to-calculate-appliance-capacity-requirements/

Good day! We have a Onkyo AV Reciever power consumption (operating) 635W AC 120V- 60Hz & two Subwoofer 230W (max power) AC 120V that came from U.S.. Please recommend a step down transformer. Planning to plug in these 3 appliances to the transformer to be used at the same time, can you recommend a reseller here in Cagayan de Oro city. Thanks.

    • Panther Support

Good day! Please see our tentative calculation below – although we would advise you also check with your suppliers directly as they would know best.

      1) Onkyo AV Receiver (audio system, we apply 20% buffer as this does not have motor): 635W x 1.2 = 762W
      2) Subwoofer at 230W max power (we apply 20% buffer since you’ve already provided max power, kindly make sure this is indeed max power, otherwise you would have to apply a 3x buffer for startup power motor consumption): 2 x 230W x 1.2 = 552W

      Total capacity required by all three devices = 762W + 552W = 1314 Watts
As such, we would recommend you get the PT 1500: https://panther.ph/product/pt-1500w-110v-step-down-transformer/

You can find this model in Handyman and Ace branches. Otherwise, you can also purchase from our Lazada and Shopee stores:
      Lazada: https://www.lazada.com.ph/shop/panther/
      Shopee: https://shopee.ph/panthersales

      We hope this helps!

Hi. We received a printer that runs on a 110-127V ~ AC 50-60Hz, 4.0A from the US. Do we need an adaptor to use it or we can just plug them like normal? If yes, what would you recommend?

    I have a vitamix blender. 120volts, 50/60hz, 11.5A. What transformer should I buy? Thanks.

    • panther admin

Good day William! Based on your given specifications, please consider at least 5000 watts AVR or higher, for sufficient allowance.
      Model: PVS 5001 D
Allot x3 allowance against the rated power consumption of the appliance, to take into account startup motor consumption. Hope it helps.
