Product Details

Panther Transformers adjust the voltage supply to make it compatible with the voltage requirement of the appliance. In the Philippines, the normal working voltage of outlets is 220V AC. Hence, if you are using appliances that require a 110V AC voltage, you would need a Panther Step-Down transformer to convert the voltage from 220V AC to 110V AC in order to use the device

Materials Used
  • 99.9% Copper Wire
  • Silicon Laminated EI Core
  • Fire Retardant Outlet and Standard Size Cord
  • Metal Casing: Powder-coated

Additional Warning / Disclaimer

Please consult your equipment supplier and/or Panther to determine the appropriate product capacity you should purchase for your equipment. This is to avoid overload.

Hi! I have a 1000watts appliance from the US. What transformer do I need? Thanks

  3. Jay

I will use it for food processor (500w) or waffle maker (1000w).

    • Panther Support

      Hi Sir, two clarification questions:
      1) I assume both food processor and waffle maker requires 110V?
      2) Do you plan to use it at the same time?
If used separately (one item plugged at a time), PT 1500-110V should be sufficient: https://panther.ph/product/pt-1500w-110v-step-down-transformer/
If you will use at the same time, you would require PT 3000-110V: https://panther.ph/product/pt-3000w-110v-step-down-transformer/

Note that the food processor has a motor (requires 1500 watts transformer on its own), while the waffle maker does not (requires 1200 watts transformer on its own).
      Hope this answers your question!

Good day! Just to be clear, your home power supply is 220V, but your appliances are 110V? Do you plan to use all appliances at the same time? If so, you would need a STEP DOWN transformer that can accommodate the power consumption of all your items. If you plan to use them one at-a-time, you may consider sharing a Step Down transformer across items, and simply purchase a transformer that is fit for the MAX power consumption of the biggest item. What’s the difference between AVR with 110v and 220v output and step down transformer 220v to 110 v ? Is there any advantage for either machine ? Pls educate me. Thank you ! 😃

    • panther admin

Good day Jefferson! An AVR with Step down transformer converts 220V into 110V or 100V and also regulates voltage fluctuation. Suit for appliance or equipment that requires 110v. A step down transformer converts the local power supply of 220V into 110V for your equipment. Does NOT regulate voltage fluctuation. We hope this help you.
