Panther Support –
Good day! We would advise that you use the PVE 1500 elsewhere instead – note maximum capacity of the AVR is 1500 Watts.
Given your aircon specifications, please use ~2500 Watts AVR instead. Thank you!
oscar beniabon –
Panther Support –
Good day, based on our calculation, you would need the following AVR:
– 1.5 HP, 220V: 3500 Watts AVR
– 0.6 HP, 230V: 1500 Watts AVR
– 0.5 HP, 220V: 1500 Watts AVR
Having said that, we highly encourage you to check with the aircon supplier directly. As it’s possible the aircon requires smaller AVR capacity, depending on the aircon design efficiency.
Thank you!

Good day po.
Panther Support –
Good day, siguraduhin na less than 1500 Watts ang refrigerator power consumption para hindi magoverload ang AVR. You can send us the following information so we can help you check (refrigerator power consumption, in amps or watts). Thank you!
Ann Seguin –
Panther Support –
Good day, given the refrigerator specs you provided, the PVE 1500 (Panther AVR 220v, 1500 VA) should be sufficient. Do note that this does not have the power-on-delay protection however (the model which has this is PVE 1500 D: https://panther.ph/product/pve-1500-d-relay-type-avr/).
Thank you for purchasing Panther, please let us know in case you have any questions.
Margie Cortez –
good day po, mron po ako PVE 1500 AVR n nkakonek s ref, minsan po napapansin ko nagfluctuate ung volt meter, ano po epekto nun s ref ko, klangan ko p po b ng surge protector aside from the AVR? tnx
Panther Support –
Good day, the relay type AVR takes ~1 second to regulate the voltage, hence why you see a slight fluctuation in the voltmeter. Rest assured, this should not have an effect on your refrigerator. However, if you notice this happening for longer than expected intervals, we would suggest taking a video and sending to us at pantherproduct@gmail.com for audio-visual assessment. We will then inform you if your AVR requires recalibration.
Note that the surge protector protects from extreme voltage surges, which is additional protection for your refrigerator regardless.
Hope this helps answer your question!
Well –
Hi, ask ko lang po if ano ang suggested AVR nyo sa freezer ko, i have two unit of this.
Rated voltage: 230v
Rated current: 0.7A
Rated Frequency: 60Hz
Rated Power input: 103w
Thanks
Panther Support –
Good day, each of your freezer would require a 500 Watts AVR. If you want to plug 2 units into one AVR, then we would recommend PVE 1000 D: https://panther.ph/product/pve-1000-d-relay-type-avr/
Note the following:
1. We recommend you get an AVR w/ power on delay, as equipment running on freon (incl. freezers) are particularly susceptible to post-brownout voltage surge damage
2. We highly encourage customers to purchase one AVR per freezer. As freezers are sensitive equipment with high power consumption, this is typically considered best practice. If you choose to purchase one AVR per freezer, we would recommend you purchase 2 qty of PVE 500 D: https://panther.ph/product/pve-500-d-relay-type-avr/
We hope this helps!

Good day.
Panther Support –
Good day! Thank you for your inquiry.
I suggest you turn off the refrigerator and other appliances during this time para mas sigurado, kasi kapag sobrang baba talaga ng voltage, nakakasira ito sa appliances in the long run

Hi. I have this Panther AVR PVE 1500 Relay type and it has served me well for the past 4 years. It is connected to my refrigerator. Lately, we noticed a strong humming sound coming from the unit. It only lasts for a few minutes then it goes quiet again. Is there something wrong with my AVR? How long can I use it before it needs replacement? Thank you.
Panther Support –
Good day, the Panther AVR itself can last you for a lifetime. However, do note that AVRs require recalibration after a few years, and the relay inside is consumable so would need replacement after a few years as well, depending on the severity of the voltage fluctuation in your area. As part of Panther’s Lifetime SERVICE Warranty, you can easily get your device serviced. See link for details: https://panther.ph/panther-ecq-service-center/
We also suggest you take a video of your AVR (w/ humming sound) and send to pantherproduct@gmail.com w/ the following details so we can conduct an audiovisual assessment beforehand:
– Full Name
– Contact number (landline or cellphone). If outside NCR, please provide a cellphone number
– Panther Item Model
– Purchased From (Store where you purchased the item)
– Date Purchased (Month and Year)
– Issue encountered: The more information** you provide, the faster it will be for our technician to gain a full picture of the issue and diagnose accordingly.
We hope this helps!

Panther Support –
Good day! Kindly note that the PVE 1500 is an AVR – hindi po siya nagchacharge ng laptop. What it can help you with is protecting your laptop from voltage fluctuations. Instead of plugging in the laptop directly to the power outlet when charging, you can plug into the AVR, which is in turn plugged in sa power outlet.
We hope this helps!

Good day. Thanks
Panther Support –
Good day! Kindly note that since this is a Relay Type AVR, hindi po talaga magiging exactly 220V ang output voltage. Instead, there would be a +/- 7% input voltage deviation within a ~1 second response time. The output voltage should still be within the acceptable range for normal appliances however. In fact, Meralco power supply typically ranges from 220V – 230V, so a 230V output voltage should be ok for your appliance.
**Note: 230V should be the max output voltage for the AVR. If you find that the output voltage being supplied to your appliance goes above 230V, kindly reach out to our Customer Service Center (wecare.panther@gmail.com) so we can help assess and conduct recalibration if needed.
If you want the output voltage to be exactly 220V at all times, you can check out our Servo Motor Type AVRs
We hope this helps!

What is the AVR size recommended for air frier 120 V , 1500 Watts??
Panther Support –
Good day! We would recommend the PVR 2000, which is an AVR with a built-in step down transformer (since your air fryer uses 120V, you would need a step down transformer to use it in the Philippines).

Is reaching 240V output voltage normal? My unit switches from 220 to 240 every few minutes.
Panther Support –
Good day! It would depend on the circumstances – for example, if your area reaches 240V, then the PVE would be regulating it down to 220V, which could explain why your unit is switching from 240V to 220V to 240V. If you’d like, you can bring in your unit for checking at our Panther Service Center. Simply contact wecare.panther@gmail.com or Viber 0998 954 3316. We hope this helps!

I just purchase this avr and found out it has no power on delay, can I replace this unit with PVE 1500 D / PVE 1501 D: 1500W Relay Type AVR w/ Power on Delay, Output 220V AC?
panther admin –
Good day! Could we know where you purchased it from? If you purchased from us directly, please message us the details of your purchase (Date purchased, serial # of unit) at pantherproduct@gmail.com so we can assist you? Thank you!
jamie –
I purchased it from TrueValue.
panther admin –
Good day! Unfortunately, True Value does not carry the power on delay series, so it will not be possible to exchange at True Value. Is this a brand new unit, never been used?
jamie –
Yes, this is a brand new avr. We purchased it recently, 5th of August. Used once and currently powered off.
panther admin –
Good day! True Value does not carry PVE 1501 D model. We advise you to speak with the branch for their exchange/refund policies. Thank you!

panther admin –
Good day! The Bypass Switch can be found on products with power-on-delay function (delays the return of power by 3-5 minutes after a power outage, to protect your appliance from power surge damage).
For PVE-1500, maaari pong magsaksak ng MAX 1500 watts per socket. Please make sure however that the total COMBINED consumption ng appliance na nakasaksak ay 1500 watts lamang.
We hope this answers your question!

Can I use AVR 1500w in my car sound system? or this AVR are for appliances only?
panther admin –
Good day phadz! May we ask if what the specification of the car sound system? Because Panther AVR will operate using AC while car sound system is DC. May we also ask if what’s the scenario that you need to use AVR with the car sound system? Hope this will help.
