good day, can this be used for a longer period of time? power shortage are becoming an often occurrence here in tarlac and was originally planning to buy a small genset to power up 1-2 electric fans only at night with elec.supply interruptions. thank you very much.

Hi Sir, the power inverter is dependent on its battery supply. Once the battery runs out of power, then the Power Inverter will also stop powering up your appliances. Hope this answers your question!

Hi, Im planning on purchasing this item and this will be powered by the DC output of a gasoline generator set with output of 12V 8.3A DC. Is this going to produce a pure sine wave to power my sensitive equipment, i.e Computer set? The AC output of my generator seems to be dirty and APC Back-UPS does not switch to line mode so im planning to use the DC output instead and just connect an external power inverter. Thanks.

Good day! Technically, the Panther PSI 1000 should be able to generate pure sine wave from DC output, which is suitable for sensitive equipment. However, could we obtain more details on the DC gasoline generator? Please share the specification and brand with us. As per your description, note that 12V 8.3A = ~99 Watts only, so the generator capacity may not be sufficient to power your computer set load (typically around ~150-300 Watts). Kindly check first to make sure. Thank you!
