Good day Jeffrey! The PSP 0211 has an MOV for surge protection. The surge protection feature will work even if your area does not have a grounding system. Protects appliances from damaging voltage surges 118J | Peak current: 6000A Max Clamping Voltage: 775V. We hope it helps.

Hi! I’ve been using this same model PSP-0211 for my Predator Helios 16 Gaming Laptop, but the switch where the 330w power adapter of the laptop is plugged can no longer be switched off after using it. It was already replaced twice from Ace Hardware.

Hi will this protect my pc from power surges? because our house doesn’t have any grounding and we only have two prong outlets and I use an adapter for my pc plug.

Yes, our PSP will still help protect your PC from power surges even if your home does not have a grounding system and you are using a two-prong outlet with an adapter or extension cord. The surge protection function will still work under these conditions.
That said, please note that having a proper ground provides the highest level of protection, but the absence of grounding does not prevent the PSP from operating as a surge protector. Hope this Help!
