    • panther admin

Good day! Yes, you may connect this to an AVR. However, make sure the appliances you plug into the extension cord does NOT exceed the AVR’s rated capacity. We hope this helps!

Hello, A friend said ” a surge protection is useless without ground”, Since this model currently what I am using, how does this extension work if it doesn’t have a ground prong? Thank you!

    • panther admin

Good day! Our surge protection feature is via a metal varistor connected within the extension cord’s circuit. As such, even without ground, the surge protection still exists. We hope this answers your question! Please let us know if there’s anything else we can assist you with.

There is some sort of black rubber dot cover which I am assuming is removable, is it safe to remove that black rubber covering the 3rd pin slot so I can use sockets with 3 pins.
Is this the case or this is only for 2 pins?

    • panther admin

Good day! Yes indeed, the black rubber dot cover (hole plug) is removable, and is intended to allow you to plug in a socket with 3 pins. Note that the hole plug will be quite tight, so you may have to apply force to remove it. We hope this helps!
