Panther Transformers adjust the voltage supply to make it compatible with the voltage requirement of the appliance. In the Philippines, the normal working voltage of outlets is 220V AC. Hence, if you are using appliances that require a 110V AC voltage, you would need a Panther Step-Down transformer to convert the voltage from 220V AC to 110V AC in order to use the device

Do your AVR Transformers maintain the 110 volts on step down even there’s low voltage or high voltage (power surge) from the source?

Good day! Yes, our AVR w/ built-in transformers (the PVR series, and select PVS models) would maintain the 110v voltage despite low or high voltage from the power source. In contrast, kindly note that the PT 2000W is just a transformer, and will convert the power source voltage from 220V to the 110V needed by your appliance. It will NOT regulate the voltage however, so the exact voltage supplied to your appliance will be dependent on the power source voltage. If you need both voltage regulation and conversion (to maintain 110V regardless of power source voltage), we recommend our PVR and PVS series instead (see links above). We hope this helps!
