Panther Transformers adjust the voltage supply to make it compatible with the voltage requirement of the appliance. In the Philippines, the normal working voltage of outlets is 220V AC. Hence, if you are using appliances that require a 110V AC voltage, you would need a Panther Step-Down transformer to convert the voltage from 220V AC to 110V AC in order to use the device
Materials Used
- 99.9% Copper Wire
- Silicon Laminated EI Core
- Fire Retardant Outlet and Standard Size Cord
- Metal Casing: Powder-coated

Just purchased 5000w from DYI in Alaminos Pangasinan. Question: can I put plug on input side to plug into house wall outlet and if so where can I find a plug that accommodates the 8 gage wire. If not using a plug should I hardwire.
Panther Support –
Good day! You can use a plug for the 5000W transformer. If so, we would suggest at least a 25A Plug (we recommend the Eagle brand). However, kindly check to make sure your house wall outlet can accommodate at least 25A (note that most house wall outlets can accommodate up to 15A only). We suggest checking with your electrician, both for fitting the plug to the transformer, and in checking your house wall outlets. We hope this helps.
