Product Details

Panther Variable Transformers adjust the voltage supply to your desired voltage requirement (110V AC or 220V AC). In areas where the input voltage ranges from 85V AC to 235V AC, the Panther Variable Transformer is able to provide excellent power regulation with negligible variation in output voltage

NOTE: As this is a manual voltage regulator, the user has to determine the input voltage and adjust the rotary switch accordingly to achieve the desired output voltage

Materials Used
  • 99.9% Copper Wire
  • Silicon Laminated EI Core
  • Fire Retardant Outlet and Standard Size Cord
  • Metal Casing: Powder-coated

I have a saws all that runs on 110vac 15amp what Panther Transformer do I need to run it

What is the function of this product?

    • Panther Support

Hi Sir, it’s a manual voltage regulator. This allows you to check the input voltage, manually adjust the transformer input, so that it can then ensure the output voltage is always at 220V.

I have a lincoln handy mig came from USA how many watts should I buy if my welding machine runs 35 to 88 amps dc output

Good day, we’ve replied to you via email. Thank you!

Hi, i have a Instant Pot electric pressure cooker from US with 1000 watts and 110 volts. Which one should I use the AVR or Transformer 3000watts?

    • Panther Support

Good day! If you’ll only be using the Instant Pot for a few minutes each day, the transformer is sufficient just so you can use the appliance. Given the specifications of your Instapot, we would recommend the PT 1500 : https://panther.ph/product/pt-1500w-110v-step-down-transformer/
However, if you plan to use the Instant Pot continuously, then we would recommend an AVR w/ built-in transformer. This is because the longer your Instapot is plugged in, the higher the possibility voltage fluctuation occurs during this period. If that’s the case, we recommend PVR 1500: https://panther.ph/product/pvr-1500-relay-type-avr/
      We hope this helps!
