Product Details

Save electricity by using the Panther Aircon to Fan Timer, since it automatically turns off the air conditioner and turns on the electric fan based on the set timer hour. Likewise, the PAT D series comes with an added 3-5 mins time delay feature to protect your valuable appliances from the post-power outage high voltage surge which occurs immediately after the electricity comes back on.

The PAT D series is applicable for all window-type air-conditioner. Likewise, you can also take advantage of the Power on Delay feature for other appliances (simply place the timer on permanent Bypass mode)

      Good day! To make use of the aircon-to-fan timer feature, please do the following:
      1. Plug the aircon into the labeled aircon outlet, and plug the fan into the labeled fan outlet
      2. Rotate timer counterclockwise, given number of hours you want the aircon on. After which, power to the aircon will be cut off, and power will start to be supplied to the fan
      3. Make sure both the aircon and fan are switched on. The aircon-to-fan timer’s function is to supply/redirect power, but if the fan is not switched on, the PAT cannot automatically turn on the fan

      Note that with the power on delay feature, there will be a 3 minute delay before the PAT switches on. This is to protect your appliance from sudden voltage surge, especially post brownout. If you do not wish to use this feature, you can press the “Delay” button.

    Is it okay to use for electric fan only? Meaning for automatic turn on of my electric fan. My aircon already have a timer, I just want that my electric fan would also automatically turn on when the ac turns off.

      1. Plug your fan into the labeled fan outlet (you can keep the aircon outlet empty).
      2. Rotate timer counterclockwise, given number of hours BEFORE you want the fan to turn on
      3. Make sure the fan is switched on. The aircon-to-fan timer’s function is to supply/redirect power, but if the fan is not switched on, the PAT cannot automatically turn on the fan

      1) Automatically turn off your air conditioner after a set amount of time preprogrammed by you (resulting in lower electricity bill)
      2) Simultaneously switch on the electric fan (thereby maintaining the cold from your air conditioner within the room)

      To use the Panther Aircon-to-Fan timer, simply:
      1. Plug in your air conditioning unit and electric fan into the appropriate outlets on the Panther Aircon-to-Fan Timer
      2. Turn on both appliances
      3. Set the mechanical timer to indicate the number of hours you want the air conditioner to remain on before switching to the fan

    hi, I just bought the PAT 3000 D at AceHardware. You said from your previous replies that the knob time has to be rotated clockwise for selecting desired time/hour for the AC to operate. However, the manual says the knob has to be rotated counter clockwise and there is also an arrow from the Zero (0) showing counter clockwise direction. I tried selecting desired hours through clockwise direction but when the knob reaches 1 near zero the AC unit turns off and the fan is not even turning on also. But, when I tried selecting numbers through counter clockwise (which is stated on the given manual paper), the knob reaches 1 (AC still turn on) and when reaches zero (0), the AC turns off and the fan turns on.

    Please enlighten us.

    Would there be a problem turning the knob counter clockwise and clockwise? Please advise.

    Hello. I just bought a unit. When turning the timer knob counter-clockwise, matigas ba talaga when going past the “8” mark? I understand this is the decision boundary between “B” and rest of the timer zone (8 to 0), pero since matigas siya, I need to apply some force to turn the knob and the knob will then go past “8” to somewhere between “8” and “7”. Now, if I want to set to exactly 8 hours, I need to move it back clockwise (wrong direction) to 8. Pero sabi sa taas doing it clockwise will eventually damage the timer knob.

    Is this normal? How do you actually set it to 8 hours?

      Medyo matigas po talaga ang knob so that it won’t turn on its own. Please push the knob slightly then turn COUNTERCLOCKWISE. If you want to set to exactly 8 hours, please make sure to turn it COUNTERCLOCKWISE, to preserve the life of the knob. We hope this answers your query. Thank you!

    Pero dahil nga po specifically matigas siya at that “8” point, I need to apply some force to turn it counterclockwise, so di maiiwasan na lumagpas, and the timer knob will end up somewhere at almost “7”.

    Ibig sabihin po ba impossible to set it to exactly 8 hours? At most 7-7.5 hours lang? Ilang beses ko na po triny, di ko po siya maset at exactly 8 because of what I described above. yung “7” to “0” di naman matigas.

      1. For a 1.5hp inverter window type AC, the PAT 3000 D should be sufficient
      2. Is it ok to use without installing a circuit breaker? We are unsure what you mean by this. Do you mean a circuit breaker at your home to support the aircon power consumption? Please consult with your electrician as they would know your home’s power lines better.
      3. Does it have a fuse? No, it doesn’t.
      4. Is it safe plugging as follows: > socket > PAT 3000 D > AC unit? Yes, this is also the method we would suggest. Please make sure to plug the AC unit into the outlet labeled “Aircon”

      Yes, it is safe to plug in as follows: Socket > Extension Cord > PAT 3000 > AC unit
      For the extension cord, please make sure that it is rated for the equivalent power of your AC unit. For example, if your AC unit’s power consumption is equal to 1 HP, then you would need a 2500 Watts Extension Cord. If your AC unit’s consumption is higher than 1 HP, then you might need a higher rated extension cord.       Good day, do you mean instead of plugging in ONE electric fan into the fan outlet, you will be plugging in an extension cord instead. Then sa extension cord, you will plug in two electric fans? That is fine, so long as the extension cord can handle both electric fan load. Please do not plug anything else sa extension cord. Note that how the PAT works is it will simply start supplying electricity to the fan outlet based on the set timer. We hope this helps!

    I just bought the product this afternoon. The fan was working when ace hardware tested it. When i got home to use it for my ac, only time delay works when i plug it. everything else is not working.

      1 HP aircon >> plugged into PAT 3000 D >> plugged into 2000 W extension cord
      Tama po ba? Kindly note that a 1 HP aircon uses up around ~2200 Watts at start up, so hindi po pwede ang 2000 W extension cord. If you’re using Panther Extension Cords, our max rated capacity is 2500 Watts, so that would be ok.
