Product Details
The Panther Automatic Voltage Regulator provides necessary protection for your appliances against voltage fluctuation. This allows your electronic equipment and appliances to perform better and last longer.
The PVE D series is good when used for all appliances that all have a 220V AC voltage requirements, with an added feature of 3-5 mins time delay to protect your valuable appliances from the post-power outage high voltage surge which occurs immediately after the electricity comes back on.

The PVE 1000 D has a 2-prong outlet, yet it has 3-prong with ground outlets. How is this grounded internally to allow devices with 3 prong to operate safely?

For refrigerators, an AVR would suffice as they don’t necessarily require the UPS function of keeping the power on during an outage.
To determine the exact capacity you need to purchase, you have to check your refrigerator specifications first and calculate based on that. Good day! We recommend turning the AVR off if the plugged in appliances are turned off as well. This is because the AVR will continue to consume electricity (though minimal) and will continue to regulate the voltage (which will use up the consumable relay part) even as the plugged in appliance is turned off. Good day, I have a PC that consumes around 470W of power and my Power supply is rated for 650W for headroom. Whenever an electric fan gets plugged in, my monitor turns off and on for a second. I’m guessing that’s because of Power sag. Will this AVR help with my issue?

What is the working temp of PVE 1000D? Is it normal to warm up a bit under normal use? Just bought one for a 250 watts inverter. The AVR is warm to the touch at around 40 to 42 deg C.

As long as you can still touch the AVR with your hands, it would be considered normal. Kindly make sure there is air circulation where you place the AVR as well. We hope this helps!

Hi, I have a PVE 1001-D and the output voltage display is not working properly. It is just flickering with all the lines lighting up so I cannot determine the correct voltage that it is displaying. Sometimes it would display properly but the reading is around 255-260 volts. Could there be a problem with the AVR?

Note that the PVE AVR is relay-type so it’s possible that the reading shows 255-260 volts for a split second, before the relay kicks in to regulate the voltage down.

Good day! The PVE is a relay-type AVR, which means there are set tripping points (when the input voltage reaches a certain point, the relay will trip and bring up the output voltage). Also it is normal to warm a bit under normal use, as the transformer inside generates heat. As long as you can still touch the AVR with your hands, it would be considered normal. Good day Nik! Power on delay will protect your equipment from sudden power interruption it’s advisable for areas with frequent power interruption. It will give you 3-5mins delay enough time for voltage to stabilize before supplying power to your equipment. If you do not want to wait for 3-5 mins, you can press the BYPASS button and power will be supplied right away. As long as the total power of your equipment will not exceed to 1000watts, you can plug it all. Hope it helps.

Ilang joules po kaya ang surge protection inside ng AVR with power on dealy or no need niya ng mataas na joules dahil sa Power on Delay feature niya po. Option ko den po kase na bumili nalang muna ng Surge Protection Extension cord niyo kaya lang nakita ko po less than 200 Joules lang po yung surge protection sa PSP 0818.
