Safeguard your appliances by preventing power surges/voltage fluctuations from damaging them. In the event of high or low input voltage fluctuations which could affect the operation and longevity of your appliance, the Panther Voltage Protector will turn off the load connection automatically and will only reconnect after 15sec./30sec./3mins. once it recognizes the normalization of the input voltage to acceptable levels
For detailed instructions on how to setup and use the Panther Voltage Protector, you can check out this article: How to Operate the Panther Voltage Protector
Additional Warning / Disclaimer
Please consult your equipment supplier and/or Panther to determine the appropriate product capacity you should purchase for your equipment.

Does it also have voltage regulator? For inverter window-type AC
Panther Support –
Good day! The PVP 2500 only protects from extremely high (> 250V AC) or extremely low (<160V AC) voltage fluctuations, by turning off the power supply during these instances. It does NOT regulate the voltage. If you want voltage regulation, please check out our AVR series instead: https://panther.ph/product-category/appliance-protection/automatic-voltage-regulator/
Nino –
Yun socket po nila may ground? What shoild we do pag yun socket na sasaksakan namin is without ground hole. Also, magkano po ang product na ito? Thanks.
Panther Support –
Good day!
2. If wala po ground hole ang saksakan ninyo, we suggest using an adaptor so that the plug will still fit into the outlet
Please check your email for price quotation, thank you!

I have a 2.0hp split-type aircon. I want to use a voltage protector like a power-delay switch to protect the aircon from sudden surge of electricity. Will this product help? If not, what do you recommend? Thank you.
Panther Support –
Good day, yes, this product would protect an aircon from sudden power surges. However, take note that maximum capacity of the PVP 2500 is 2500 Watts, which seems to be lower than your aircon’s requirements, and could result in overload. We recommend you check with your aircon supplier on the maximum power consumption of your aircon. This will help us determine which of our available products would fit your needs best.
We hope this helps! Please let us know in case you have any other questions.
John –
Hi, Paano if biglang nag brown-out? automatic ba mag power On ang PVP 2500? oh kailangan pang pindutin yung On/Off switch?
Panther Support –
Good day, when you plug in the PVP 2500 into a power outlet, it will automatically turn on unless you switch it off. To check if your PVP 2500 is on, the LED indicator should light up. As long as the PVP 2500 is on, it will work as intended. We hope this helps!
Joenard –
Thanks
Panther Support –
Good day, given your aircon specification, we would recommend PVP 3500 instead (which is specifically designed for aircon): https://panther.ph/product/pvp-3500-panther-voltage-protector-3500w-w-power-on-delay/
bernard juan –
Panther Support –
Good day! Yes, pwede po. Please note that this does NOT provide voltage regulation, but provides low/high voltage and power-on-delay protection only. For a better idea of the difference between an AVR and a Voltage Protector, please check out this article: https://panther.ph/difference-between-avr-and-voltage-protector/

I bought this product in lazada. I was wondering if it is normal for the 3 LEDs will keep on blinking even if I turned it OFF?
Panther Support –
Good day! Yes, when plugged in, the PVP’s 3 LED lights will continue blinking when OFF, so that you’re aware the Voltage Protector has been turned OFF. If you are not planning to use it and do not want to see the blinking LED lights, kindly unplug the device.
Mj –
Can i use this on my 1.5hp window type aircon? We are experiencing frequent voltage fluctuations everyday.
Panther Support –
Good day! We would recommend the PVP 3500 for your 1.5 HP window type aircon: https://panther.ph/product/pvp-3500-panther-voltage-protector/
Kindly note that the voltage protector does NOT regulate voltage fluctuations. Instead, it cuts off power supply to your aircon when the voltage levels are above 250V AC or below 160V AC, as a form of voltage protection. We hope this helps!
R. de los Santos –
Can the pvp3500 be used for a carrier brand 2.5 hp aircon window type?
Panther Support –
Good day! Yes, the PVP 3500 should be compatible with your 2.5 HP window type aircon.
See link: https://panther.ph/product/pvp-3500-panther-voltage-protector/
Bryan –
Hi may i ask if the unit will turn on during low or high voltage situation? I understand i will shut off during these situation, but will it again turn back on when low or high voltage continue beyond the maximum time delay period? Thanks
Panther Support –
Good day! So long as the voltage is not within the acceptable voltage thresholds (between 160V AC to 250V AC), the Panther Voltage Protector will not allow the power to reach your appliance.
John –
Thanks!
Panther Support –
Good day! Yes, you may use the LAN port. 🙂
Paolo –
After a blackout, will this delay turning on of electricity to protect aircon (1.5 hp)from surges?
Panther Support –
Good day! Yes, the PVP includes a power-on-delay function to protect appliances from voltage surge post-power outage. You can select the amount of time you want the delay to be in effect (15sec/30sec/3mins) using the moving switch on the side of the unit. We hope this helps!
Pedro –
is the PVP 2500 or the 3500 compatible to 1.hp to 1.5hp with 1030W 5A split type aircon?
Panther Support –
Good day! The PVP 3500 would be compatible with the aircon whose specs you’ve provided us.
Please see PVP 3500 link: https://panther.ph/product/pvp-3500-panther-voltage-protector/

Mizzy –
Hi! What can you recommend for 180watts 4 door inverter ref? PVP or ARV? And what watts?
Panther Support –
Good day! Do you have the ampere rating of the refrigerator. We find that ampere rating is a more accurate representation of actual refrigerator power consumption, and is our basis when providing a capacity recommendation.
For refrigerators, we generally recommend AVRs since you use it 24/7 so more susceptible to voltage fluctuation damage. However, if you’re low on budget, then the PVP would work as well, just keep in mind that it does NOT regulate voltage, but simply provides high/low voltage protection by preventing power from reaching your refrigerator during this time. We hope this helps!
Solomon –
Hi, can I use this for my refrigerator?
Rated voltage: 230 V
Rated Frequency – 60 Hz
Rated Power input – 120 W
Rated current – 1.5A
Defrost input – 170W
Panther Support –
Good day! Yes, the PVP 2500 can be used for your refrigerator. Just take note that this provides high/low voltage protection by stopping the power supply from flowing to your appliance when the voltage is >250V AC or <160V AC. Likewise, it comes with power on delay protection, as well as surge protection. We hope this helps!

If AVR relay or servo type? Please reply ASAP if possible, thanks.
Panther Support –
Good day! We would recommend Relay Type AVR with Power on Delay, for 24/7 voltage fluctuation protection of your Panasonic freezer inverter refrigerator. Here’s the available list of Panther Relay Type AVRs we have available: https://panther.ph/product-category/appliance-protection/automatic-voltage-regulator/pve-relay-type/
Kindly make sure the AVR you purchase is of the appropriate capacity given your refrigerator’s power consumption requirements. For more information on how to calculate this, please see article: https://panther.ph/how-to-calculate-appliance-capacity-requirements/
We hope this helps!
Ranx –

Hi and good day po. I was wondering, ano po ‘yung purpose ‘nung 3-way switch on the side of the unit of the PVP 2500? Salamat po in advance for taking the time and effort on replying to my message.
Panther Support –
Good day! The 3-way switch found on the side of the PVP 2500 is for you to choose the time delay period (15 seconds, 30 seconds, 3 minutes). This determines how long the unit will wait after a power outage, before resuming power supply to your appliance, thus saving your appliance from voltage surges. For more information on the other PVP features, you can also check out this article: https://panther.ph/benefits-of-a-panther-voltage-protector/
We hope this helps! If you have any other questions, let us know!

Then di naman nag ON Aircon. Ano kayang problema. Yong 3-way switch ay nasa 1
Panther Support –
Good day!

Hi, I am planning to use it for my PC. power supply po ng pc ko is 650 watts. Just wondering if this could help to avoid my system halimbawa po pag nakidlat like sudden spike or surge ng kuryente. Is it ideal to use this to protect my cpu?
Panther Support –
Good day! We would not recommend the PVP 2500 for your PC as part of its features for high/low voltage protection is to cut off the power supply when the voltage is too high or too low. When this occurs, this would shut down your computer while you are still using it. As such, we would recommend the PVE-D series instead, AVRs with built-in power on delay (which protects from voltage surges post-power outage). See link: https://panther.ph/product-category/appliance-protection/voltage-protection/power-on-delay/

Hi! I have a couple of questions.
1. What is the bandwidth does PVP 2500 allow on its RJ45 sockets? Is it 100Mbps or 1000Mbps?
2. Is it okay to stack a regulator and voltage protector. For example: AVR -> PVP2500 -> Wall Socket.
Thank you!
Panther Support –
Good day!
1) The bandwidth of the PVP 2500 RJ45 sockets is 100Mbps
2) Yes, it is okay to stack the regulator and voltage protector.
We hope this helps!
nre –
Panther Support –
Good day! Yes, normal po. So long as the heat is manageable (kayang hawakan), it should be okay. We hope this helps!
Dan –
Panther Support –
Good day! We don’t advise using the PVP 2500 for your computer, as the Voltage Protector will cut off power to your device when the voltage goes below 160V or above 250V. However, this sudden cut-off would result in your PC shutting down improperly, and you losing the data you were working on. We would recommend an AVR for your PC instead. You can check out our PVE series: https://panther.ph/product-category/appliance-protection/automatic-voltage-regulator/pve-relay-type/
We hope this helps!
Ulquiorra –
Hello!
By thoery of operation, does this device also provide short-circuit protection? Doesn’t voltage become 0 volts during a short circuit, which is “technically” undervoltage?
Panther Support –
Good day! The PVP 2500’s design does NOT provide short-circuit protection.
In a short circuit, due to unintended contact of two different lines, the line will travel down an unintentional path of low resistance. As such, there will be high current flow which will then cause the voltage drop.
Panther’s PVP 2500 has an instantaneous AC voltage variation detection resulting in load connection cut-off if input AC voltage is experiencing overvoltage (>250V AC) or undervoltage (<160V AC), as well as re-connection once normalized. However, it cannot protect from high current flow which occurs when there is a short circuit.
We hope this answers your question!

Michelle Santiago –
Hi! Ive tried this item for the longest time and no issues. Im using this for a electric cooker with 1000 watts. I use the middle one which is tbe normal one. Then bigla nalang when I tried to use it again in normal, when I turn on my electric cooker, the light transfers to high/3 min delay. Causing my electric cooker to shut down again. Then kapag naka steady light na yung sa high, ayaw na mag on yung electric cooker when using this.
panther admin –
Good day Michelle! Can you try checking the voltage from your outlet? Because PVP 2500 will cut off its power when there is high (>250V) or low (<160V) voltage as part of its protection features. If the voltage from the outlet is normal, yet the PVP 2500 continues to exhibit this behavior, kindly message our Service Center on Viber and send a video of the concern 09989543316. Hope it helps.
Michelle Santiago –
250v po. Pero dati po ok naman siya. Gumagana sa appliance ko. Ano po pwede ipalit?
panther admin –
Good day. It’s because the voltage coming from the main outlet is too high, that’s why the PVP 2500 is stopping the power from entering your appliance for its protection. If your area’s voltage is always this high, you can consider PVE 1501 D for your electric cooker instead. Hope this helps.
jack –
hindi napo nag normal, at hindi ko na magagamit po parang never ending loop po sha, sa 3 delay time, ano kaya problema nito, last 3 months ok naman, baka sira nato, ano kaya prob nito
panther admin –
Good day jack!
AV –
panther admin –
Good day AV! Please check the side part of PVP. If you set the time delay to 1: it will delay power for 15 seconds. If you set the time delay to 2: it will delay power for 30 seconds. If you set the time delay to 3: it will delay power for 3 minutes. After which, power will be supplied to the outlet. We hope it helps.
