In the event of high or low input voltage fluctuations which could affect the operation and longevity of your appliance, the Panther Voltage Protector will turn off the load connection automatically and will only reconnect after 15sec./30sec./3mins. once it recognizes the normalization of the input voltage to acceptable levels

      Good day, yes, this product would protect an aircon from sudden power surges. However, take note that maximum capacity of the PVP 2500 is 2500 Watts, which seems to be lower than your aircon’s requirements, and could result in overload. We recommend you check with your aircon supplier on the maximum power consumption of your aircon. This will help us determine which of our available products would fit your needs best.

    Hi, Paano if biglang nag brown-out? automatic ba mag power On ang PVP 2500? oh kailangan pang pindutin yung On/Off switch?

      Good day, when you plug in the PVP 2500 into a power outlet, it will automatically turn on unless you switch it off. To check if your PVP 2500 is on, the LED indicator should light up. As long as the PVP 2500 is on, it will work as intended. We hope this helps!

    I bought this product in lazada. I was wondering if it is normal for the 3 LEDs will keep on blinking even if I turned it OFF?

      Good day! Yes, when plugged in, the PVP’s 3 LED lights will continue blinking when OFF, so that you’re aware the Voltage Protector has been turned OFF. If you are not planning to use it and do not want to see the blinking LED lights, kindly unplug the device.

    Hi may i ask if the unit will turn on during low or high voltage situation? I understand i will shut off during these situation, but will it again turn back on when low or high voltage continue beyond the maximum time delay period? Thanks

      Good day! So long as the voltage is not within the acceptable voltage thresholds (between 160V AC to 250V AC), the Panther Voltage Protector will not allow the power to reach your appliance.

      Good day! Do you have the ampere rating of the refrigerator. We find that ampere rating is a more accurate representation of actual refrigerator power consumption, and is our basis when providing a capacity recommendation.
      For refrigerators, we generally recommend AVRs since you use it 24/7 so more susceptible to voltage fluctuation damage. However, if you’re low on budget, then the PVP would work as well, just keep in mind that it does NOT regulate voltage, but simply provides high/low voltage protection by preventing power from reaching your refrigerator during this time.       Good day! The 3-way switch found on the side of the PVP 2500 is for you to choose the time delay period (15 seconds, 30 seconds, 3 minutes). This determines how long the unit will wait after a power outage, before resuming power supply to your appliance, thus saving your appliance from voltage surges.     Sir, bakit pag tig saksak ko na yong outlet ng Aircon..window type sa Panther VR hindi nag On Aircon..Nag blink lang siya sa 1st LED indicator then mga ilang sec naman sa 2nd. Then di naman nag ON Aircon. Ano kayang problema. Yong 3-way switch ay nasa 1

    Hi, I am planning to use it for my PC. power supply po ng pc ko is 650 watts. Just wondering if this could help to avoid my system halimbawa po pag nakidlat like sudden spike or surge ng kuryente. Is it ideal to use this to protect my cpu?

      Good day! We would not recommend the PVP 2500 for your PC as part of its features for high/low voltage protection is to cut off the power supply when the voltage is too high or too low. When this occurs, this would shut down your computer while you are still using it. As such, we would recommend the PVE-D series instead, AVRs with built-in power on delay (which protects from voltage surges post-power outage).     1. What is the bandwidth does PVP 2500 allow on its RJ45 sockets? Is it 100Mbps or 1000Mbps?
    2. Is it okay to stack a regulator and voltage protector. For example: AVR -> PVP2500 -> Wall Socket.

      Good day! We don’t advise using the PVP 2500 for your computer, as the Voltage Protector will cut off power to your device when the voltage goes below 160V or above 250V. However, this sudden cut-off would result in your PC shutting down improperly, and you losing the data you were working on. We would recommend an AVR for your PC instead.     Hello!

    By thoery of operation, does this device also provide short-circuit protection? Doesn’t voltage become 0 volts during a short circuit, which is “technically” undervoltage?

      Good day! The PVP 2500’s design does NOT provide short-circuit protection.

      In a short circuit, due to unintended contact of two different lines, the line will travel down an unintentional path of low resistance. As such, there will be high current flow which will then cause the voltage drop.

      Panther’s PVP 2500 has an instantaneous AC voltage variation detection resulting in load connection cut-off if input AC voltage is experiencing overvoltage (>250V AC) or undervoltage (<160V AC), as well as re-connection once normalized. However, it cannot protect from high current flow which occurs when there is a short circuit.

    Hi! Ive tried this item for the longest time and no issues. Im using this for a electric cooker with 1000 watts. I use the middle one which is tbe normal one. Then bigla nalang when I tried to use it again in normal, when I turn on my electric cooker, the light transfers to high/3 min delay. Causing my electric cooker to shut down again. Then kapag naka steady light na yung sa high, ayaw na mag on yung electric cooker when using this.

Because PVP 2500 will cut off its power when there is high (>250V) or low (<160V) voltage as part of its protection features.       Good day. It’s because the voltage coming from the main outlet is too high, that’s why the PVP 2500 is stopping the power from entering your appliance for its protection. If your area’s voltage is always this high, you can consider PVE 1501 D for your electric cooker instead. Hope this helps.

    hindi napo nag normal, at hindi ko na magagamit po parang never ending loop po sha, sa 3 delay time, ano kaya problema nito, last 3 months ok naman, baka sira nato, ano kaya prob nito
